- This is my wish list. Contains only books for now but I consider them all as my favorites. No matter I have already read nearly all of them.

Terry Pratchett
| Terry Pratchett, writes the most funny fantasy I have ever read. I'm happy to advise this series to you and I'm sure you will enjoy reading. It is a great fun and it forces you to think about our world, our habits, our history. Every single one of the books has quite closed story with its own beginning and the end so you don't have to be worry to choose a book which is in middle of the series. My favorite book is the "Small Gods" but I don't really think there are any major differences in the books quality. It's more about your personal preferences and opinions of the book's background. |
Začneme Terry Pratchettem (česky), je mi vcelku jedno zda přibydou verze v češtině nebo angličtině. Kromě Making Money jsem už stejně všechno minimálně jednou četl nebo poslouchal :) (The Science of Discworld právě dočítám jako poslední). Pokud to někdo neznáte, tak vřele doporučuji. Osobně se mi asi nejvíce líbil díl "Malí bohové", ale nehledal bych nějaké významné rozdíly mezi jednotlivými částmi. Záleží spíš jak člověku sedne námět té které knížky. I když musím uznat že kvalita jde postupně stále nahoru, tak ani nejstarší díly nejsou rozhodně špatné. |

Isaac Asimov
| Isaac Asimov is probably my favourite writer. Especially his autobiography had left very strong feelings and it might be the very best book I have ever read. It's not in the list because I own both language versions (English and Czech). Give it a chance when you think about your next book to read. |
Můj další oblíbený autor je Isaac Asimov (česky). Co k němu říct. Čtivé, inteligentní, většinou nutí k zamyšlení. Pravděpodobně mojí nejoblíbenější knihou vůbec je autobiografie "Já Asimov", která mě velmi ovlivnila. Poměrně přesná shoda mých názorů s těmi uvedenými v knize mě dost překvapila, protože autor je Američan a navíc jiná generace. |
